My family does not celebrate Christmas. Usually, my brother and I get a gift and that’s the end of that. This year, I spent the entirety of Christmas day working on homework and college applications. I spent the entirety of Christmas night sleeping. Aside from my dad’s casual comment that it was Christmas, I would not have known it was the 25th.
Life goes on. You work hard yesterday...

As the end of the year arrives, I find myself reflecting on the events that transpired from the end of summer to today. I’ve undergone a dramatic change, to say the least, and it’s hard for me to tell whether this change is positive or not. I suppose I should just take it as “change” and leave it at that.
